If you do not know how to tie a tie then shame on you. How the hell do you expect to wear a very nice business suit or dress in an elegant tuxedo should you ever decide to take that sexy lady from accounting to the symphony?
For some reason today’s men seem to be lacking the basic skill of how to tie the basic Windsor knot. Years ago, all men wore suits to work, along with the customary fedora hat.
Of course times have changed and your average business suit has morphed into jeans and t-shirt for many workplace offices. What a shame!
I still can remember a brief conversation I had with a fellow colleague who told me they, in fact, missed dressing up to go to work on a daily basis.
There’s just something about wearing a suit and tie that makes you feel more… professional and self-assured he tells me. I have to agree!
Of course there is the option of wearing one of those totally fake looking clip-on ties.
Trust me, you can easily tell when someone is wearing a clip-on tie as it looks totally low-class and fake.
